The Beer Christianity podcast has been around for a few years. This website not so much. We’re in the process of adding all previous episodes, but that will take a while because we are all very busy and also very lazy. More (well, all) episodes at our old, ugly Libsyn site (and on all good podcast platforms).
Latest episodes:
Episode 120: Bread and Rosaries — sick freaks, Starmer and the King of the North
Bread and Rosaries is a Christian leftist podcast based in the UK. Yes, there’s another one! And we are delighted to have Adam and Ben from that excellent show on Beer Christianity. They are a great laugh and have great takes, particularly on Keir Starmer’s resignation and the country’s resignation to having more of the same in Andy bloody Burnham.
Episode 119: Siskin Green- Folk, feminism, faith and a new album
Siskin Green is one of our favourite bands. Profound, beautiful music that manages to be playful, righteous and gentle all at once. This is an interview with two members of Siskin Green, and it’s a lot of fun.
Episode 118: NakedPastor speaks - David Hayward on cartoons, politics & faith
David Hayward is a cartoonist and commentator better known as NakedPastor. His work depicts Jesus as a shepherd of rainbow sheep, the Church as hostile to both the sheep and Christ, and the harm done in the name of Christian faith, all while retaining a love for God.
Episode 117: James Schneider - the American empire at home and abroad
James Schneider is a writer, commentator and significant figure on the British left. He talks to Beer Christianity (and Shibboleth magazine) about America, imperialism and how US violence has boomeranged on its population.
